The collaboration between Franplast and I.P.R Spa, a company operating for over 40 years in the field of design, development and production of rubber and thermoplastic soles, has led to the launching of a new item on the market: the IPerRmask filter mask. The company headquartered in Marches expands its product portfolio by meeting the growing need for protection, safety and health of the individual in the current context of health emergency in which we find ourselves living together.

The mask consists of a facepiece made of hypoallergenic polymer (Chemiton Med® by Franplast) featuring interchangeable multilayers TNT filter. As a guarantee of the quality and reliability of the product, of the Made in Italy and of the short supply chain, the synergy between the companies is also obvious from the targeted study of the very clean and clear packaging marked with the logo of the respective companies.

The nose pads made by Visottica Industrie Spa, market leader in the production of eyewear components have excellent transparency and are totally recyclable and biocompatible. The close collaboration between Visottica and Franplast regarding the development of the most suitable TPE for this application has led the Venetian company to register its own trademark: the result is MEM® (Medical Ecofriendly material), a product which meets the need for an eco-friendly material compliant with international regulations that deal with protecting health and environment.

MEM® is Visottica’s green choice for the production of a new generation of nose pads that respect the environment and human health. The MEM® material is also medical certified (USP class VI), therefore ideal for long time contact with the skin.

The spiral structure produced with Franplast material allows easier breathing and insertion of the hypoallergenic biogel, thanks to which bacteria, viruses, pollen, allergens and dust are blocked for better breathing and thus offering protection against respiratory tract infections.

The material supplied, translucent and very light, has been designed for this particular feature that requires a hardly visible final product, weighing less than a gram, flexible, resistant and above all medically certified.
