TPE Based on Polyolefinic Elastomers

TPE thermoplastic elastomers
Chemiton Flex

High-Performance Thermoplastic Elastomers

The Chemiton® Flex family compounds are made from polyolefin elastomers. They offer improved resistance to oils and fats compared to traditional HSB-based compounds. These properties make them ideal for food contact applications. These compounds are characterized by a complete absence of odor and a glossy surface finish.

This family meets the requirements of various sectors: the excellent mechanical properties and remarkable impact resistance of these TPO compounds make them suitable for producing toys and gadgets certified for food contact while maintaining elasticity over time. Moreover, Chemiton® Flex is also suitable for industrial applications due to the good chemical and mechanical resistance of the materials, which also provide excellent electrical insulation.
