Franplast celebrates 60 years of activity in the production of TPE-S thermoplastic elastomers. On June 6, 2026, against the backdrop of Villa Franceschetti, the company gathered employees, customers, partners, and friends for the most significant event of the celebratory calendar. The 60th anniversary evening
On June 6, against the backdrop of Villa Franceschetti, Franplast celebrated its 60th anniversary with an evening that brought together employees, long-standing customers, strategic partners, friends, and family. It was not an isolated event: the evening represented the most significant moment of an entire celebratory calendar that in the course of 2026 has already included March’s Tech Day, dedicated to molders and processors specializing in the TPE-S market, April’s technical event in partnership with Arburg, focusing on defects and process remedies in molding, and May’s Family Day. Among all the initiatives on the program, the June 6 event was the most important, designed to bring together not only the industry, but the whole Franplast family.
60 years in thermoplastic elastomers production: from foundation to leadership
Franplast was founded in 1966 on the initiative of Giacomo Franceschetti. Decade after decade, the company transformed from a local production reality into a highly specialized player in the formulation of SEBS, SEPS, and SBS-based thermoplastic elastomers, keeping the values of flexibility, quality, and cohesion at the center of its processes. Today, under the leadership of CEO Elena Franceschetti, Franplast operates on an international scale with an export share equal to 50% of turnover, production areas exceeding 20,000 m², and a range of Chemiton products developed to meet the needs of sectors ranging from medical to automotive, from construction to sports.

The most anticipated institutional moment of the evening was the speech by CEO Elena Franceschetti, who retraced the key milestones of this long journey, thanked the team for their constant contribution, and outlined the strategic direction for the coming years.
