Together with Fanuc, a leader in robotics and industrial automation, we organized an event in Milan on April 17th to explore the frontiers of innovation and sustainability in molding, with a special focus on our TPEs.

During the session, we presented our sustainable solutions for thermoplastic rubber molding, sharing our company’s concrete commitment to increasingly circular production.

Chemiton and Continuous Research: Our Vision for Sustainable Molding

Participants had the opportunity to delve into the features of our Chemiton products, high-quality styrenic-based thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) designed to combine performance, recyclability, and environmental responsibility.

Our vision was shared by our CEO, Elena Franceschetti, and R&D Manager, Gabriele Ercole, who retraced Franplast’s journey and illustrated how research and development are core pillars of our approach. An approach driven by excellence, customization, and above all, sustainability.
We demonstrated how each of our products can be custom-designed to meet the specific needs and requirements of our clients, thanks to a synergistic effort between our laboratory, technologies, and the entire Franplast team.

The event was also a valuable opportunity for networking and direct exchange with other players in the industry. Live demonstrations added excitement to the day: in particular, we witnessed the FANUC ROBOSHOT electric injection molding machine in action, which produced some TPE-based giveaways for attendees.

We are proud to have taken part in this initiative and will continue to invest in innovative materials and advanced technologies to build a more sustainable and high-performing future for the entire molding industry.
