Eco-sustainability comes first
Franplast has included among its New Year’s resolutions the achievement of a number of specific goals, including those aimed at improving the company’s stance towards sustainability and reducing its environmental impact. In fact, the company intends to obtain ISO 50001 certification for energy management systems and attention to consumption, and ISO 14001 for improving environmental management. It will be Roberto Farina, the new Head of the Quality Department at Franplast, who will ensure the success of the project thanks to the experience he has built up over time in the field of plastic rubbers and Quality Control.
Elena Franceschetti, the company’s C.E.O., is primarily convinced of the need to achieve a higher level of sustainability. Elena’s wish is therefore to finish the installation of the photovoltaic system consisting of 2500 modules that will cover the roof of the entire production building. This would be a very important milestone for Franplast to be proud of.
Crossing boundaries
One of Franplast’s goals is to expand more and more into foreign markets. It is for this reason that the company has for many years now participated as an exhibitor at the German Fakuma expo, the international trade fair for plastics processing, at which it is once again renewing its historic appointment this year. In this regard, training courses for employees will also be resumed, which will range from in-depth language training to technical topics.
Dedicating much attention to the domestic market as well, Franplast will reconfirm its presence at the Milan Plast 2023 trade fair, the most important plastics event in Italy.
