Our participation in Plast 2026 in Milan (June 9-12) has concluded with great success. The event represented a crucial turning point for Franplast, confirming itself as the ideal platform to consolidate relations with our partners and showcase the latest developments in the field of thermoplastic elastomers. Among the main highlights of our stand were the interactive installation of the Chelai Art project and a major strategic announcement: the appointment of Patrizia Zatti as the new Sales Manager for the Italian market.
A positive balance for TPE-s innovation and Chelai Art
Last week wrapped up the long-awaited Milanese edition of Plast 2026, where we played an active role with our exhibition space. The four-day event proved to be an invaluable moment for discussion on the future challenges of the market and new applications in the plastics sector, allowing us to forge new synergies with industry professionals. In this edition, we wanted to explore an alternative territory, offering visitors an unprecedented blend of industrial technique and artistic expression. Capturing the public’s attention was a special interactive grab machine: an installation designed to host the sculptural works of artist Paolo Nicolai, made entirely from our materials. This initiative put the spotlight on Chelai Art, the brand born from our collaboration with the artist to push TPE-s beyond traditional boundaries.
Patrizia Zatti at the helm of thermoplastic compounds in Italy
The international context of the trade fair was also the perfect setting to announce a fundamental passing of the torch for the domestic market, which has always been vital for our company. To continue driving innovation, we officially introduced Patrizia Zatti as the new Sales Manager Italy.
With over twenty years of experience and deep specialization in thermoplastic compounds, Patrizia brings solid expertise in commercial development dynamics. Under her leadership, the Italy team will focus on three key pillars:
