Quality and customer satisfaction with the ISO 9001:2015 declaration of conformity
Franplast has been reconfirmed as compliant with ISO 9001:2015 and, consequently, its renewal. This certification is nothing more than a standard for organisations that aims to demonstrate a company’s ability to satisfy the needs of its customers. Satisfaction does not only mean fulfilling customers’ wishes and requests in terms of products, but also anticipating or forecasting their future needs in order to provide the most appropriate service. In Franplast’s philosophy, customer satisfaction has always been at the centre; reaching their expectations is part of the company’s mission.In the years to come, the company aims to obtain new standards, which fit in well with the quality system. These include ISO 50001, for energy management systems and attention to consumption, and ISO 14001, for sustainability and reduction of environmental impact.
Franplast and future goals: the company aims to obtain the Integrated Management System
With the possible achievement of compliance to ISO 14001 Franplast would be able to certify materials according to the 14021:2016 standard, through the Environmental Product Self-Declaration and thus issue certifications for the Chemiton compound line based on recycled materials. The first step to achieve compliance with this standard will be to undergo an environmental analysis where CO2 emissions, resource use and general environmental impact can be monitored. In the near future Franplast aims to obtain the Integrated Management System (IMS) certification, that is the union of the three big families of certification schemes ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015, 45001:2018 concerning quality, environment and safety at work. Every day Franplast works and commits itself with the aim of standardising the company’s activities in order to guarantee high performance, achieve concrete objectives, constantly optimise itself and have an overall vision that is reflected in global effectiveness and efficiency. Franplast’s laboratory, equipped with sophisticated equipment, is aimed at testing, proving and analysing all the materials used in the production of elastomers. Special thanks to the whole staff in the R&D team, who work every day to ensure that innovative and safe materials are developed in compliance with current regulations. Thanks to their support, the company has obtained important conformity certifications for its products and quality and environmental management system.
