“Franplast was founded on 8th June, 1966, and I was born on 22nd July of the same year. In a way, I can say that I was born together with Franplast.”
The realization that Franplast would have been my future came during a family meeting when my father officially asked who would like to take the reins of the company. Although he had initially chosen one of my siblings, both my brother and my sister declined the offer. At that moment, I understood that fate had chosen me to carry on Franplast. I felt this decision was a duty, although I sensed that my father might have preferred a son to lead the company.
My connection with Franplast deepened further during a period of significant personal challenges: a family bereavement and the departure of a key executive. These painful events made me realize how deep my desire was to take the reins of the company.
In my journey towards the role of CEO, I wanted to bring about significant change within the company, focusing especially on human values and personal relationships.
I would like to extend special thanks to three people who have been fundamental in the development of Franplast: Elena Cominelli, Seiti Halilovic, and Valeria Turelli.
Elena and I literally grew up together, and her contribution has been crucial for Franplast expansion into international markets.
Seiti has stood by my side during times of great professional and personal difficulties, especially during the economic crisis of 2007-2009, demonstrating unwavering loyalty.
Valeria has accomplished an extraordinary professional journey and, with her empathy and positivity, has always been a key presence in the most critical moments.
A special thanks also goes to Stefania, whose dedication has contributed to making the company stronger and more cohesive.
But my biggest thanks go to the entire Franplast team, from Giusy (sometimes they come back… 😄), to Giuseppe, Roberto, and the latest addition to the team, Ragbi.
Thanks to their commitment and dedication, the company has grown, founded on the values of respect and the enhancement of people.
I would like to mention everyone who has contributed to making Franplast what it is today, but the list would be endless. Therefore, I will stop here with the names, but I carry in my heart gratitude for every single person who has been part of this extraordinary journey.
